Black Light Ascension is the new project of Andrew Trail from Knifeladder.
In a radical move away from the more experimental Knifeladder, BLA is a song based electro project.
Using minimal drum machine/sequences, hand played samples and analogue synth, the result is moody pop songs with a paranoid noir story telling style.
The debut album, 'Ashes', is out now on HauRuck and brings ten stunning retro but same time also refreshing modern tracks.
Extremly catchy from the first second till the end.
