Eisstoß chronicles the descent into the glacial depths of sleep paralysis, a shadowy and turbulent soundtrack to the nuclear winter of the soul. Eight surrealist compositions titled after severe atmospheric phenomena heralding the imminent arrival of the terminal ice age.
A brutalist symphony of spectral mechanisms and muffled shrieks of tormented spirits ensnared in the frigid clutches of an all-pervading cold front, Eisstoß slowly unveils like preternatural hoarfrost patterns that anesthetize and numb the instincts of self-preservation, freezing away memories and roots, leaving only the cold crystalline premonition of the looming catastrophe.
