Flexible Pooling

Ltd edition 7" ep white flexidisc at 33rpm.
The flexy is housed in an oversized handstamped paper bag.
The 7" is a square solid-white flexi double-sided "picture disc" with a silk-screened silver design on both sides.

The flexy is two sides of audio at 11minutes and comes with an audio download code for a further 18 minutes of sounds.
The download is a single and exclusive file of unique music not on the flexy, so you will have a 29 minute 'mini LP'

:zoviet*france: and Fossil Aerosol Mining Project take their collaboration, which resulted in last year’s ‘Patina Pooling’ double album release a stage further into the realm of pliable reverberation.
Using the near-redundant record format of the 7-inch flexidisc, ‘Flexible Pooling’ consists of two new tracks that have been devised with the lo-fi quality of the format in mind.
The low grade sound fidelity and susceptibility to physical degradation of flexidiscs intentionally becomes an additional layer to the recordings, a surface audio patina analogous to the rusting of the steel sleeves of last year’s album.

Flexible Pooling was released by alt.vinyl and Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in conjunction with the Baltic 39 exhibition, The Curves of the Needle.
