Vertonen is Blake Edwards, also known for his label C.I.P. (on which he released several Z'ev albums...).
This was an edition of 100 CDr's but Edwards pokes fun at the collector world by saying three tracks come from a 7" that had an edition of 10000 copies, but that's worth 275 dollar a piece...
Clearly inspired by Merzbow and the like, Vertonen's studies in noise are strong and sound like an explosion in a gas station.
