SKY BURIAL is Michael Page, probably better known as a member of FIRE IN THE HEAD.
Sky Burial’s fourteenth full-length recording marks a return to ‘epic’ length compositions featuring a single track spanning the length of the release.
Firmly rooted in the kosmische ethos, ‘Chapel Image’ is a constantly shifting journey through the nebulous depths of drone and dark ambience with full-immersion being just held at bay by the uneasy dichotomy of low and high frequencies and punctuation of rhythmic and industrial elements.
